Barbara Alice Mann is a Ph.D. scholar working heavily in Native American Studies, as well as in indigenous women’Äôs studies. An Ohio bear-clan, community-recognized Seneca, she has authored eight previous books along with dozens of chapters and articles, while publishing severally on James Fenimore Cooper and Jane Austen, in addition to working for indigenous rights as an elder in Ohio.
